SEE THAT KATIE. THANK YOU TODAY PROMISES TO B A MAJOR DAY IN AMERICA’S BATTLE. IT’S THE CORONAVIRUS A CRITICAL HEARING COULD GIVE THE APPROVAL NEEDED TO BEGIN VACCINATIONS MAP RICHARDS WATCHING THE DEVELOPMENTS FROM OUR WASHINGTON BUREAU. ALL SIGNS POINT TO APPROVAL FOR PFIZER’S COVID-19 VACCINE THE FDA IS WEIGHING WHETHER TO GRANT THE SHOT EMERGENCY USE AUTHORIZATION APPROVAL WOULD ALLOW INITIAL ROUNDS OF VACCINATIONS TO BEGIN WITHIN DAYS. JUST LAST WEEK THE UNITED KINGDOM APPROVED PFIZER’S VACCINE WITH THE FIRST DOSE IS GOING OUT ON TUESDAY REGULATORS IN THE UK SAY PEOPLE WITH SIGNIFICANT HISTORY OF ALLERGIC REACTIONS SHOULD NOT RECEIVE THE SHOT WHILE THEY INVESTIGATE TO ADVERSE REACTIONS. THIS IS NOT A MAJOR CONCERN THEY’RE GOING TO SORT OUT WHAT IT IS AND MAKE SURE THAT FOLKS WHO ARE ALLERGIC TO THAT THING DO NOT GET THE VACCINE SO I’M NOT CONCERNED ABOUT IT AT ALL IF APPROVED THE NEXT STEP IS FOR STATES TO IMPLEMENT THEIR PLANS AND PRIORITIZE WHO GETS THE SHOTS FIRST THE CDC RECOMMENDS THAT SHOULD BE HEALTH CARE WORKERS AND IN LONG-TERM CARE FACILITIES IN WASHINGTON, I’M AT PRITCHARD REPORT A WHILE. I THINK I’M GOING TO GO AHEAD AND GET THIS TO KEEP MYSELF AND MY FAMILY IN THE COMMUNITY SAFE. MEANWHILE WALGREENS IS FINALIZING PLANS TO VACCINATE PEOPLE IN LONG-TERM CARE FACILITIES COMPANY REPS AS VACCINATIONS WILL BEGIN ONE TO TWO DAYS AFTER FDA APPROVAL APPOINTMENTS THOUGH WILL BE REQUIRED. WE’RE CREATING ONLINE APPS WAYS THAT WE CAN ACTUALLY HAVE THEM SIGN UP ONLINE. WE CAN VERIFY THEIR ELIGIBILITY AND THEN SCHEDULE THEM TIMES NOT ONLY FOR THEIR FIRST SHOT BUT ALSO FOR THE SUBSEQUENT SHOT TO ENSURE THEY HAVE SERIES COMPLETION WORDS NECESSARY. THAN 30,000 LONG-TERM CARE FACILITIES HAVE ALREADY SIGNED UP TO RECEIVE VACCINES FROM WALGREENS AS WE WAIT FOR APPROVAL CORONAVIRUS CASES.
