Once again, Amazon’s Prime Day sale is nearly here, with the annual shopping event set to be bigger than ever.
With more than a million deals across gaming, tech, TVs, laptops, home appliances and kids toys to be found, it’s the perfect opportunity to treat yourself.
While it’s usually held in July, this year it had been postponed because of coronavirus, and will instead run from 13 and 14 October.
The online retailer is also focusing on smaller businesses that have been impacted by pandemic, so Prime members who spend £10 with select small businesses from 28 September to 12 October will earn £10 to spend on Prime Day.
Amazon is one of the biggest places to shop all things tech , from wireless headphones and smart speakers to tablets, and we’re here to make sure you’re in the know about all the worthy discounts and deals on offer.
Whether you’re shopping for yourself or someone else, this is everything you need to know, from how to bag the best deals to what’s expected to be included, so you can navigate the sale for a successful online shopping trip.
Our IndyBest team hand-picks every deal we feature. We may earn some commission from the links in this article, but our selections have been made independently and without bias. This revenue helps to fund journalism across The Independent.
How can I take part?
Amazon Prime Day is open to all customers with a Prime membership, which for £7.99 a month or £79 a year, gives you access to perks such as same-day delivery, Prime Video, Amazon Music and 800,000 free e-books to download at your leisure.
If you’re not already a subscriber, you can also sign-up to a 30-day trial in the lead up to the sale to still be able to shop the bargains.
How can you get the best deals?
For keen shoppers, we’d recommend downloading the Amazon app which not only gives you a first look at the flash Lightning Deals that are only available for a few hours, but will also allow you to set notifications when deals you’ve had your eye on go live.
Here at IndyBest, the team will also be rounding up the best deals to shop across the sale, so make sure to check back here.
